How Eligibility Is Determined
COURSEWORK
- MUST have 2 ‘List 1’ classes (see course list HERE)
- 6 out of your 8 grades are used to calculate eligibility
- PE, TA, Study Skills, Free Period will not earn any points
POINT SYSTEM
- MUST earn at least 10 points per semester:
The FIRST 4 POINTS must come from List 1
Then, you need 7 POINTS TOTAL from List 1 and List 2 combined
Finally, you need 10 POINTS TOTALED from all lists combined
A = 2 points
B = 1 point
C = 0 points
- Honor/AP classes will earn extra .5 points
you may only use 2 classes for up to 2 extra points total
SENIORS IN THEIR LAST TERM
(spring term of senior year)
- at least ONE List 1 class
7 POINTS from List 1 and List 2 combined
10 POINTS TOTALED from all lists combined
WHAT CAN DISQUALIFY YOU FROM APPLYING TO CSF?
- Grades of D & F will result in ineligibility to apply for that term
- NC (no credit) grade or citizenship grad of N or U results in ineligibility to apply for that term
